2015-2017 Ford Mustang Key Adding with Autel IM608 II via OBD
Today I'm gonna program an additional key for 2016 Ford Mustang with Autel MaxiIM IM608 PRO II by OBD. Here are 2 smart keys, one is working, the other one is new. The Autel IM508S also supported if you had one.IM608 Ford(EU) Mustang IMMO List

Procedure
Connect IM608 II into OBD.
IMMO >> Ford >> Automatic selection >> Read >> OK >> Smart key >> Yes >> Immo status scan >> Add key(guided) >> Start
Notice:
If the factory alarm of the vehicle is activated, you need to deactivate the factory alarm first before you can learn the keys.
Press "OK".
Note: this procedure will not erase existing keys.
Press "Yes".
Notice: it is normal that the instrument panel turns black when performing this function.
Press "Yes".
Turn the ignition to the ON position or open and close the driver door 1 time.
Press "OK".
Security accessing. Please wait about 3-10 minutes...
Learned key: 2
Place the smart key to be learned into the slot, which is usually:
- In the armrest box;
- In the cup holder;
- In the glove box.
Current number of keys is: 3.
Learning successful. Press "No" to complete.
Test the new key, it works.
So we've successfully added a key for 2016 Ford Mustang via OBD. I'll recommend Autel IM608 Pro2 if you do a lot of locksmith and high security cars. It's really a good tool.
