What is adaptive conductance?
Adaptive conductance testing refers to repeated tests on the same battery many times on an adaptive basis without depleting the battery.
1) Why bring adaptive conductance into BT506?
This brings us to the difference between load test and adaptive conductive test. Unlike traditional load tests, which consume a large amount of amperes from the battery during the test, adaptive conductance test can quickly and accurately determine the health of the battery at almost any given state, without the need to re-test and waste additional time.

Check Your Battery Before It Dies
As you know, car batteries lose their power and performance with time hence the need to have them checked from time to time. Autel BT506 battery load tester will help you test the health of your car's battery and remind you to keep the battery in time to avoid unnecessary damage.
Cranking And Charging System Test
BT506 Battery Tester can test battery and also 12- and 24-volt Cranking/ Charging Systems( starter and alternator), Same as BT608.
1). In-Vehicle Test:
* Battery Test:
With the clear guidance on the screen, you can do the battery test. And the battery test results include a color-coded result summary, a list of test data such as SOC, Voltage, Measure Capacity, and repair tips.
After battery test is completed, SOH (state of health), SOC (state of charge), voltage, current, rating, and specific guidance and suggestions can be visually displayed, and the batteries can be clearly divided into: Good Battery; Good & Recharge; Charge & Retest; Bad Cell; Replace Battery.
Color-coded results summary, a list of test data, and repair tips helps you perform battery test in easy way.
* Starter Test:
Follow the on-screen instructions, start the engine and let it idle. Then the test results of the cranking system will display on the screen which include starting voltage, starting current and starting time.
Starter test help you analyze the starter motor, including start voltage and start time, to check if the starter motor is working properly.
-Load voltage refers to the voltage measured when on-board electrical appliances (such as headlamps) are turned on.
-No-load voltage is the voltage measured when all on-board electrical appliances are turned off.
-Start time is the time it takes for the vehicle to turn on the engine
* Generator Test:
Through the alternator test, technicians are able to check the load voltage/current, no load voltage/current, and ripple. The direct test result on the screen will tell you whether the charging is normal, and whether there is an issue with the output or ripple, which helps avoid damaging the battery and shortening its life due to overcharging or incomplete charging.
Generator test refers to test different parts of the charging system, including generators, rectifiers, rectifier diodes, etc., to obtain the real charging voltage value.
All battery data about ripple, no-load voltage, load voltage are displayed to customers.
2). Out-Vehicle Test:
Out-vehicle test is used to test the condition of batteries that are not connected to a vehicle. This function aims to check the health status of the battery only.

Step2: Register and Login
Step3: Pair the BT506 with the APP by scanning the QR code on the back of the tester or via Bluetooth pairing
Step4: Install the vehicle diagnostic application and start the test
