Procedure
  1. Generate Key
Put a Autel Universal Key into XP400Pro programmer,
Universal key >> Accept >> Universal key generation >> North America >> Mazda >> Type by model >> CX-5 >> 2021 >> Mazda CX-5 2012-2021 >> Generate universal key
Wait processing until 100%...
Universal key generation is completed.


 
  1. Learn Key
IMMO >> Accept >> Mazda >> Manual selection >> USA >> CX-5 >> 2021- Smart key >> Yes >> Control unit >> Keyless system(CAN) >> Key learning >> Add smart keys
Note: At least 2 keys are required to be learned to start the engine!
Turn the ignition on.
Current number of smart keys: 2
Warning!
You must connect J2534 VCI and IM608 Pro2 diagnostic tool using USB, otherwise the function may fail.
System configuration in progress. Please wait for 7 minutes, then the vehicle horn can be heard.
  1. Depress the brake for A/T vehicle and clutch for M/T vehicles.
  2. Put the smart key mark close to the START button.
Current number of smart keys: 3
Learning successful. Press "Cancel" to complete.



The engine can be started only when the following steps are taken:
  1. Turn the ignition off.
  2. Depress the brake pedal, put the head of one learned key close to the START button, start the engine for 3s and then turn the ignition off. Repeat this procedure for each learned key.

Test the new key, it can work well.
Done.
